Kelly Young is a pioneering entrepreneur, educator, and consumer-safety advocate whose work is rooted in a simple but powerful belief: healing should honor the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.

Since 2017, Kelly has built businesses and community initiatives focused on creating greater access to plant-based wellness, education, and compassionate support.

As the founder of My TCBD and its affiliated companies, she has developed vertically integrated hemp and cannabis businesses spanning retail, manufacturing, product development, extraction and formulation, quality assurance, regulatory compliance, education, technology, and consumer advocacy.

With more than eight years of hands-on experience developing cannabinoid products, Kelly brings a rare combination of entrepreneurial leadership, financial expertise, manufacturing knowledge, and direct experience listening to consumers and healthcare professionals.

Her approach is grounded in the belief that people deserve to understand what they are putting into their bodies—and to have confidence that the products they choose are produced responsibly, tested appropriately, and developed with their wellbeing in mind.

Kelly's advocacy extends beyond her businesses. She has worked to advance consumer safety, product transparency, responsible cannabis policy, equitable access, standardized testing, and clearer differentiation between botanical, refined, chemically converted, and synthetic cannabinoid products.

She has participated in national policy discussions, including a 2025 GAO focus group addressing cannabis banking, and has provided federal public comment involving OMB/OIRA, HHS, and FDA on cannabis and CBD policy. Her advocacy reflects a consistent commitment to creating a regulatory environment that protects consumers while allowing responsible businesses and evidence-based innovation to thrive.

Her work also extends into medical education. Through Endocannapath, Kelly has developed a medical education framework designed to help healthcare professionals better understand cannabis as a whole-plant medicine, including the endocannabinoid system, cannabinoid science, delivery methods, extraction, formulation, safety, and responsible patient education. Her goal is not to promote a product—it is to help healthcare professionals become better-informed resources for the people they serve.

Kelly's vision of wellness is intentionally broader than any single plant, product, or modality. She believes meaningful healing can involve education, nutrition, community, connection, nature, conventional healthcare, plant-based approaches, recovery support, and the emotional and spiritual dimensions of being human. Her emerging community initiatives are designed around this whole-person philosophy, creating spaces where individuals can feel informed rather than judged, supported rather than isolated, and empowered to participate in their own wellness journey.
